What are all the temp files that are created in C:\ProgramData\Bitdefender\desktop\EnginesTemp

I have about 4GB of such temp files. Why are they being created and how can they be cleaned?

These are temporary files related to Bitdefender signature updates. You can simply access the location and delete them manually.

Thank you. The reason I asked was I could not delete them until I rebooted in safe mode. Everything is fine now. Thanks
