Update function in Bitdefender Total Security keeps switching off.

The update button in Bitdefender Total Security keeps switching off as if it is a default.

Windows 11 Pro 64 bit PC.

Any answers as to fixing this so my PC isn't exposed to new threats?

For now, have you tried running a repair to see if that helps? It could be one thing that could be checked off the troubleshooting list, in case you need further help.

HI Scott, I used your suggestion and the update button stayed at Auto Update and Hourly. So far so great.
