Heuristic Ad/banner blocking feature

Hi,

It would be helpful if a heuristic Ad/banner blocker can be added into the Bitdefender traffic lights component enabling interruption free video streaming on youtube and other networks.

Malwarebytes Browserguard has this feature and its very helpful.

Malwarebytes browser guard says it blocks ad but it does not. It only acts as a tracker protection and malicious/ phishing website blocking.

In bitdefender, you have 2 separate browser extension.

1) Bitdefender Anti-Tracker (blocking trackers )

you are right. today i tested it by myself and it does not block ads. nothing special about that extension.

just use mozilla firefox with ublock origin extension added to firefox and you'll have no problems with ads.

Will adding Malwarebytes Premium to a windows 10 device that already has Bitdefender total security help . Will the two conflict each other ? And make the divide not run efficiently and safe from bad actors?

With Malwarebytes browser guard free download, I see that it only blocks . Is that is only purpose?

Running bitdefender alongside with malwarebytes will not cause any conflict since I use both of the products myself. The only purpose I use malwarebytes is due to its tendency to block majority of pup/pua.

Note: The compatibility of product is also determined by the fact that your system is build in such a way that it can handle large processes at the same time.
