I'm guessing the recent addition of red exclamation marks or green check marks beside every file icon is Bitdefender's work. They coincide with whether a scan has been run or not. I've had Bitdefender a couple of months but did not experience this until recently. I've run several deep scans. There is nothing wrong, but I find these icons annoying and would like to get rid of them but cannot find documentation to help. Does anyone know? Thanks,

If you don't want that BitDefender warns you if you didn't have scanned your computer since a while or performed an update,... You can do this open BitDefender switch to basic view, now click on security and the other tabs and expand each section by pressing on + and uncheck the boxes that are under monitor. That is the only thing you can do. After that switch to advanced view again.
