How do you get support.


I am having major trouble with Bit Defender 2008, my main bit defender screen show I have 3 crital issues.


Under the Anit virus icon, it says the p2P and file access needs to be fix, it will not let me fix it.


It will not let me udate, i get a invalid md5. I have tried several times yesterday and today.


Tried running the sysdump file and it hangs up... as a result I can not get past stage 2 to contact tech support.


I have get them several messages an no one has responded.


How do you get help around here?

    Register, get your self an account. Login. Find the My Care tab. Use the online chat option; they usually answer in mu experience, but you are suffering from the major download failure which has taken their service out for almost a week so you'll get fixed answers "itll be fixed soon"

  • Worst support I have ever seen. I have this product on 3 computers and all of them are messed up. I am sure that the support agent repling to me does not know what to do. :wacko: Now she has quit responding. calling support is worst they are always busy....

  • It wont help in response to your problem but, your desktop is a state. Get rid of some if not all of the webpages on your desktop and your computer might start up a little quicker.

    Reinstall BD.Use the BD Uninstall Tool to clean the remainings of your bad installation.

    I already re-installed bd, but i still get update problems.


    Re installing has NOT helped me.


    But bd is silent.


    No solutions or support in any way.


    If this continues much longer i am forced to buy another anti virus software because my system is not safe anymore.


    In that case i want my money back for the remaining license time of course.


    I will not pay for software that doesn't work!

    Have you tried BD 2009 instead?


    Edit:bulletproof , thats why they invented the trial thing .Kaspersky(from version 7 to our days) ,for example ,never worked properly on my computers and i still don t call it "garbage".I have friends that needed to reinstall their operating systems because of the russian suite,so stop recommending the universal solution because aint one.Maybe tomorrow you ll go on Kaspersky forum to complain there also.

    Our Computers are not wrong, BD is wrong.


    And not only is BD wrong, the lack of support is wrong.


    We paid for these licenses and now we cant get updates and dont get support.


    And now you are telling us our computers are wrong?

    If the BD installation has corrupted ,during the update problems or because of a power outage, then reinstalling shouldnt be such a big fuss.What about the OS automatic updates, have you monitored them ,maybe Microsoft did a driver update that messed everything up on your machines, like they ussually do.

    you can upgrade to BD 2009 ,you can do that if you own BD 2008 license.


    Support is not available for cracked BD versions ofcourse.So if your BD version stopped working because it was patched to counter the piracy simply just buy a real license and you ll be offered with live support.

    And reading this forum, updating to 2009 on a 64 bit system is certainly not the solution.


    But we get the picture here.


    In order to get a working antivirus, we have to buy a different product from a professional company.


    It was a mistake to get a bd product.


    But we will get the rest of our money back.

    LOL, you say that as a company you were not treated acordingly by the support team?


    I hardly find this true.It simply cant be if you asked for support.


    Anyway you really need some professionals in that company, to take care of the problems, because it seems you personally can not.


    On my computer updated itself in the last 2 years ,i ve used BD 10 , BD 2008 for a long time and BD 2009 for testing purposes.There were some problems few days ago but its been fixed.At this moment ,as we speak ,there should be no problems with the autoupdate,if the program itself broke, you can easily reinstall it or repair it , if the autoupdate gets stuck into a file name it here so you can be helped.


    If its crap why you bought it? :wacko:


    Continue flameing im sure yesterday you did that, on some other forum.
