Scanning Upon Computer Start-up

Is there a way to stop Bitdefender from scanning my 2 usb sticks and external hard drive automatically upon starting my laptop? It slows things so much, which is very annoying.

Any assistance on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello @NeverTrustASMilingCat

On the left hand side of the UI, go to Protection/Antivirus open/Settings and confirm Scan flash drives is Disabled (or Ask every time).

See if that resolves it for you.
