Delay Between Lock Screen and PIN input screen

Hi Gurus,

I am evaluating a copy of Internet Security on a new Windows 11 Home build (2023H2). Windows and Bitdefender are all up to date. After installing Bitdefender, there is considerable delay between the time I click on the keyboard or mouse at the Windows lock screen (the date etc. disappear for 40 seconds, then comes back, at which point I have to click something again to get the login screen). I know Bitdefender is causing this because it happeneded after installing BD and issue resolved after uninstalling BD (I've tried the usual advice regarding windows lock screen settings, of course they did not work). Is there a way to fix this? If not, I will give up and consider other products instead.

Since you tried an uninstall and reinstall I don't know if a Repair will help, but it may be worth a shot?

Select, How Tos & Troubleshooting→Troubleshooting and go through the prompts until you will get the black Contact Support option of Chat, Call or Email. Chat is the quickest way to get thing started, phone support is not toll-free.

They may need for you to create and send some log files, but they will let you know if and what they need.
