Missing Spam

According to the Bit Defender Antispam module, I have received several spam e-mails, including one today and yet I can find no sign of them in Outlook 2010. I have checked my Inbox, the Outlook Junk Mail folder and Deleted Items, but there are no messages marked as spam in any of those folders. Neither is there a spam folder in Deleted Items and yet the help file says there is supposed to be one. Where have my missing e-mails gone I wonder?
