Cpu Running 99/100% After Upgrade

Hi

I upgraded from bitdefender 2011 to Bitdefender 2012 Total Security yesterday. Since then my CPU has been running at 100% with vsserve.exe using 95-100% CPU. I cannot open programs such as Microsoft outlook and my PC is running very slow and hangs most of the time causing me to reboot. I am running wiindows XP with 2Gb RAM and 32bit system.

Can you please advise what steps to take to resolve this issue.

Can anyone help with this problem CPU still running at 100% Windows Xp SP3 Running AMD Athlon processor.
