Bitdefender, Stop Charging My Credit Card!

WOW, this company ######! This is the second year in a row I have had to dispute automatic charges from Bitdefender 2 years after I cancelled my account. To reach "customer service" I had to do a google search, found a phone number, called and got someone in Romania who promised to have his "senior colleagues" contact me. BE WARNED. This company does not delete credit card information upon cancellation of account!

    I would first like to say that no one in the company has access to your credit card information. All transactions are handled by online payment companies.


    Now for the matter at hand, I have found your phone request and asked one of my colleagues to contact you via email for more information. A refund will be processed once we trace the order. Please reply via email to my colleague with the following information:


    -the full name under which the initial purchase was made


    -the date of the charge


    -the entry in the credit card statements pertaining to the Bitdefender charge


    -*if possible, however not mandatory, the email address used for the initial purchase
