Bit Defender Antivirus Plus 2012 Problems
Hi,
I have bought bit defender anti virus plus 2012 from a nearby shop and after installing it among my 2 pcs. I found out quite amount of problems.
Windows XP (Desktop) and Windows 7 (Laptop)
Same problems :-
1. Could not sign in MSN. It will crash as soon i click connect.
2. My web browsing / youtube eventually slows DOWN a lot.
3. Couldnt not even enter my own Router Homepage "192.168.1.1"
Problem 3 could be solved by turning off the toolbar but only worked on google chrome. Firefox still couldnt not enter.
I could only sign in MSN once i turn off the active scanning.
I am sure that my internet speed was not a problem because after i uninstall it, everything was perfectly fine and back to normal.
I do hope that this problems could be solved ASAP before reinstalling it back.
Hope that my money is not wasted on this product.
I have sent a report, screenshots and bdsp file to your technician and i hope it could be FIX asap.
I hope that the answer or solution that i received is not by turning off this and that which would make my PC vulnerable.
No point buying this product if i was asked to turn off all the safety features.

Patrick, you are far from alone in these problems, have a read through some of the other threads on this forum. They claim to have released an update to fix the problems, but it didn't solve my Firefox problems.

All my problems are SOLVED.
No more msn Error.
Normal internet Speed in web surfing.
Able to enter my router homepage.
