Error Message Msvcr100.dll
I have downloaded and installed BD Antivirus 2012 30 day trial. Everything went well and it worked for 3 days. I now get this error message when I boot up. I did a search of my hard drive and found the file in the 2-places shown. I did a Repair but the error is still there.
I use Windows XP 32 bit.
Any ideas on what to do??

Hi Gar and welcome to our forums.
Please go to Control Panel - > Add or Remove Programs and uninstall anything related to Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable(2005, 2008, 2010). After this reboot, download and install this:

Now repair again the product and you shouldn't receive that error anymore.0 -

Hi Cristi, I have a similar issue with Internet Security 2012 and the missing msvcr100.dll file. I installed my software on 11/1/11 and it ran for 3 days then started giving me the message that "the program can't start because msvcr100.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." I have tried several times to do this unsuccessfully. I also found this post and located all of the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable files. I uninstalled all but the 2010 version which was installed on 11/1/11. The uninstall program will not let me delete this file so I can't install your download file. Any suggestions?0 -
Hi
Please uninstall also the 2010 version of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable. Reboot your machine in Safe Mode, delete that file manually.
Now install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2010 again from here

and reinstall Bitdefender 2012 by following these steps:
