Bd2012 Freezes System After Screen Saver

I upgraded to 2012 yesterday from 2011. 2011 had decided to completely ignore the scheduled times to run scans and kept startup when I'm in the middle of doing something instead of at 3am as scheduled.

OK, so fair enough I followed the advice and got my free upgrade to 2012.

Now I find I can't actually schedule a scan which seems a regressive step anyway, but now, whenever my PC goes to a screensaver, it cannot recover and I need to hard reboot.

I am so very not happy about this. BD is the only change I've made in days.

I'm on Win-7 64-bit. Is this a known problem?

I have the same problem but with Win Vista SP2 32 bit. Randomly occurs but has happened both times after a full system scan (happens whether or not screensaver is active).
