Does Bis Firewall Protect Me From Data Leaks?

Christian,

You really want to use a forum rule to dodge a question? Not being open and honest does not

instill much trust and confidence.

Ok, I will rephrase the question.

As a paying customer I have genuine concerns that my software firewall does not protect my personal

data leaking out onto the internet. I have read various articles from different sources stating this.

I currently use BitDefender Internet Security 2012. My operating system is Windows 7 64bit.

I currently do not have confidence with the firewall contained within this security suite

and would like proof that I am fully protected.

Please provide me with a response and a testing tool that will prove to me that BitDefender properly

protects my data from leaks.

Is this reworded question worthy of support now?

Thank you!

    Hello :)

First of all, Matousec competitions are not firewall tests.

In that challenge they test the HIPS component from the security solutions.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intrusion_prevention_system

Of course if they will set All the protections from Bitdefender to Aggressive of course it will score in top #3.

Bitdefender products are silent and without 1000 pop-ups per minute to allow the same program over and over again. That why Paranoid Mode is turned off by default and Active Virus Control is set to Normal.

I will return with a utility regarding the firewall test.

    Take care.
