Bitdefender Security Service Terminated

Hello. The problem began yesterday. I was constantly receiving alerts that Bitdefender IS 2012 services were not responding. Also the program icon turned to grey. After a few restarts, the alerts stopped.

Today, I'm receiving messages (1 message per 30 minutes) that Bitdefender Antivirus and Firewall are deactivated. Then, a message from Bitdefender Security Service that it encountered a problem and it had to be terminated. No grey icon, no issues to fix.

Hello. Today program's icon turned to grey (Bitdefender Services not responding...). I've tried a lot of restarts but the problem persists.

  • Hi Christian,

After an update today, I'm NOT receiving any alerts or messages from bitdefender. Everything is OK now.

However, I ran Bitdefender_Supporttool.exe (I could not of course reproduce the issue). I'll send the generated log by PM the following minutes.

    Looking forward to your reply
