Firewall Resets Home Wireless Network To "public"
For some reason when my Vista64 laptop connects to our home network, Bitdefender internet security 2013 automatically sets the connection to "public network" in the firewall section. I manually go in and change it to "trusted" but when the laptop restarts it reconnects as public.
How do I fix this as I cannot print to wireless printers on the home network?

Hello
A product update was released. Your build should be 16.18.0.1406(please right click on Bitdefender icon from system tray-near the clock-and choose "About". You should see in the left side the build number).
In order for the product update to be installed, you need to reboot your machine(you should see in the Events -> "Reboot required" under the Update module).
Changelog:

Thanks, the network adapter settings are now "sticky" and not reset on a boot. Network printing now works.
However, the "autoscan" settings are not "sticky" and get reset on a reboot.0 -

I'm getting the problem as well on Vista 32 and sometimes on my Windows 7. I'm running 16.22.0.1534. On Vista 32 it seems that every time I start my machine up the network level drops down one until it reaches 'public'. Very annoying.
Any ideas?0 -
