Sitting At Work Trying To Get The Laptop To Boot Again

and still not an answer from support.. its kind of hard to generate a ticket when you computer works when the software is removed... it becomes a challenge...


120 days left to go on this sub.. and I still am not really using the software. just installing it...have it work intermittently for a week and then unload it and start over.


hello? is there anybody out there?

  • now uninstalling so I can actually get some work done.. wow... talk about slowing a computer down? how about talking about slowing down the user...


    and the thing is I got two other computers.. one vista, one xp sp3... and it works to a degree that you can use the machine.


    just on the laptop does it crash and burn.

  • and if I re install it I have to set up the network blocks again... now I know I need a program that gives me some control... but I want to be able to set it and forget it.. not have to fidget with it on a daily basis in which I get it working ... until the next boot of the computer.


    so again i am going to spend the day working without protection. because I got to get work done.. its how I pay for the program... work...


    not spending weeks and weeks and weeks...


    trying to make it work only to have it break.

  • program removed and look.. a full fast boot up with all the start ups loaded in my tray. NO PROBLEMS... so why can't this program play nice..


    and another thing....why would it also say my key which works might i ad... why would it say invalid?


    btw... i had to use another computer to be able to post here.

    my windows 8 takes FOREVER to boot.. and sometimes, the tray icon doesn't even appear to me..


    and my Active Virus Control keeps turning off by itself!!!


    at the download page says "WINDOWS 8 COMPATIBLE"

    Sometimes the Windows Action Center says the Firewall and AV is turned off, but in my BitDef Central says everything is fine;

    That kind of describes my experience when I can get it to boot... often it hangs up at the beginning and the tray does not even come in.. then I got no start or anything along the lower bar and have to do a shutdown with the switch and then restore to a good boot.. but soon as I remove the program.. no problems.


    and still I do not have any answer...

  • Tried loading again on the laptop.. still having issues with key and booting.

    I ran that uninstaller and it goes into a continuous loop... then I could not get internet.. I had to restore to my backup to get the internet


    I am at a loss to why i am having so many issues....
