New Machine Win7 64bit. Can't Install Bd 2013. Uninstall Crashes Ie 9

Sorry for the long title.

I have a brand spanking new machine and had read about how good Bitdefender 2013 was so decided to install the trial instead of Avast.

The programme downloaded to the machine but when I came to install it just sat there for about an hour telling me it was installing.

I came to the forum and found the Uninstall and all but one thing uninstalls which I cannot find in the machine anywhere and now my net connection is stuffed.

Takes nearly 10 minutes to load a page. Luckily I am posting this from my mobile.

Very upset as the machine is only a couple of days old.

All help to fix this greatly appreciated.

Have You Tried This Unistall Tool:

  • Yes I have.

I am really confused as to what has occurred. I would try to do a log but the machine is so slow.

    Thanks for your reply.

  • Anyone have any advice for me please?

What has BD2013 taken or added to IE9? What is causing IE9 to take a good 10 minutes to load each internet page?

Seeing as this is a brand new machine I know it is only BD 2013 that has caused some form of conflict. I don't understand why it didn't install in the first place.

    Boot Windows To Safe Mode.

    Go To BD Directory

    rename bdtl.dll to bdtl.old

    restart your computer

Note:You Need To Install Only Signature Updates Manually By Changing settings of update in bd dashboard
