Trojan Affecting Bitdefender

hi I believe I have a bug on my computer it not only turned my bitdefender completely off, which was impossible for me to do, but it changed many of the rules and now when I try to set the rule back it automatically turns itself back off even though its password protected. I haven't been able to detect anything malicious even in safe mode completely disconnected from the internet. do you need a log file? well too bad because even though I turned log verbosity on, someone turned it off and emptied out all my logs.

    Hi lykum :)

Were you, or are you able to run a Rescue Scan (applies to all versions) I will not run on a XP OS: http://www.bdantivirus.com/bitdefender/ant...ion.rescue.html

Please take note at the bottom of the above link, that the partitions are in Linux prose, and thus your main C:/ is probably listed as sda1, to be scanned. Also, I believe, you have to be directly connected to your modem/router via a Ethernet cable and not wirelessly, to be able for BD to be able to check for updates.

Let us know how it goes.

And you think bitdefender has support?

    Just wait a little longer.

Let him wait for reply from bitdefender's technical support for months <img class=" />:P , otherwise do as columbo suggested and post here the results.
