Can anybody help me out with this problem, it appears like my xp doesn't recognise it is there and it tells me that BD is turned off. It seems to cycle on and off, when i bring up my xp security centre it is off, yet it turns on before my eyes, i know it sounds dumb, but if anyone can help me out...really confusing.....any help will be greatly appreciated....cheers

    I mentioned it on another thread, but the same thing is happening to mine. It started yesterday. Windows Security Center cycles telling me it's off, then I check it and it's not, then it says it is again, over and over. I am also having displayed a red X in the Net zone window. Are you seeing this, as well?

    Same here BD Total Security keeps popping up that it is turned off & then turning on! started today and mine is Windows Vista home premium!

    This situation appears after an update, when BitDefender restarts its services.
