2012 Un-install - Blue Screen Error - In Loop
Hello, i just attempted to uninstall BD using the BD uninstall tool. I attempted to restart the computer and was met with a blue screen error:
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
STOP: 0X000000D1
ndis.sys
The computer is in a restart loop now with the errors upon restart. I can ONLY start in Safe Mode without any networking.
What to do?
Is there a telephone support number? I need the computer for business...pronto.
Computer Info:
Windows 7 / 64bit
Bitdefender2012
I believe, upon closer inspection, the bitdefender tool used was for BD2013. Not sure if thats causal.

Hello vitamin, welcome to the Bitdefender forum!
It looks like the crash is caused by your Atheros driver "athrx.sys". I recommend you to replace your old driver with a new one. You can download the new driver from here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?vvf2lpfeephnkkm
Download the archive and decompress it.
Then open Device Manager (To open Device manager go to Start menu > right click on Computer > choose Manage > Device Manager > Network adapters). Right click on Atheros driver and uninstall it. You will be asked if you want to delete it's files, please select Yes.
Restart your computer, go back in Device Manager, right click on Atheros driver (this time it will have an yellow exclamation mark) and select Driver
-> Update Driver -> Instal from a specific location -> go where you have saved the new driver. The name of this driver is: "win7-9.2.0.113-whql".
Restart the computer and check again what is happening.
To remove Bitdefender 2012 please use this uninstall tool:

Thanks for the support.
I was able to get things up and running again by, while in Safe Mode, rebooting to the "last known good configuration".
I'm not sure if uninstall of BD was causal or happenstance.
