Firewall Causing Lag Spikes
Hi, I have been using the same firewall settings for a number of months now and for whatever reason they are starting to cause lag spikes again. I use to have it on home/office but then lag spikes occurred, i made a post about and Cristian, i think their name is, said to use on trusted, i turned stealth on and to have generic as yes. That fixed the problem I was having but now the lag spikes are back on both home/office and trusted setting.
I watch my network meter and it dips down to zero utilization and causes hic ups when gaming and streaming music, kind of an inconvenience. I get spikes every 2-5min it seems, but varies. There can be 4 or 5 in a short time, but other times goes longer without a spike, but still not all that long. This happens when I have the firewall on, when I turn it off I had played an hour of my game and I had no lag, no music stream cut outs and no spikes in network meter, not that I noticed anyway.
Just wondering what I should do.
Thanks
