Win32.worm.vb
My daughter's computer has Win32.worm.vb and I can't seem to get rid of it. I have seen it mentioned in many posts, but it appears that someone has to email you a program to fix it (when I try to download the program as posted, it says I am not authorized to do that). Can someone please help me get rid of this?

Only virus researchers can download files so prevent accidental infection of the clients (since most of the files posted here are infected). I've sent a PM with the removal tool.

I have actually the same problem with the computer of my friend. I started bitdefender to scan his pc. In the log file it says that 53 files are infected, all with win32. worm.vb. nrm or npm.
The infected files are:
...windows/config/svchost.exe,
...windows/config/system.exe,
...system volume information/_restore{DAAD8284-5896-4B40-A753-8454BDC2E5A5}/RP345/A0067967.exe
and so on also for the following files with the same path:
...system volume information/_restore{DAAD8284-5896-4B40-A753-8454BDC2E5A5}/RP345/A0067968.exe until
...system volume information/_restore{DAAD8284-5896-4B40-A753-8454BDC2E5A5}/RP348/A0069230.exe
all infected with "win32. worm.vb. nrm" or "win32. worm.vb.npm"!
Can you support me cleaning this infected things!
