Bitdefender Blocking Live Scoring

in Firewall

couldnt get live scoring to work and it wouldnt connect on either


cbs sportsline or espn score


then I uninstalled bitdefender internet secuirty and it worked, reinstalled the new version and it didnt work, something, is it my firewall is blocking live scoring from these sites, how do I fix it please


still got 260 days left dont want to have to get a new secuirty software package

    Probably at some point they will see this thread. I tried ESPN Europe live scores web page yesterday for English Premier League Football and it appeared to work okay.


    If you could give specific URL for the pages you are experiencing problems with, which version of what browser you use and whether or not the Bitdefender toolbar is enabled in it, that might help people assist you.

    problem is games are only played mostly at night UK time so guess people have to click on the scoreboard and hope there are games going on

    There is an ALS game on at present. ESPN site works properly, scores update and B,S etc. indicator dots work. CBS partially as detailed below.


    CBS also refreshes itself as it should even though it says connecting to live scores (java function). every 60 seconds or so the page updates. scores change for that game okay. what doesn't function is the java component but the diagnostics page indicates it is falling back to a flash version instead and that is how it is able to update the page. diagnostics test page:

    Tried with IE9 on Vista HP x64 SP2 with Bitdefender Internet Security 17.16.0.729.

    Similar issue, but I'm having trouble with ESPN Fantasycast. It is not automatically updating.
