Why Is Bitdefender Issuing Certificate For Gmail?

I'm getting this from Thunderbird email client as a security exception:

Is this normal? Why is BitDefender mucking around with my certificates?


I thought that the AntiSpam feature was for POP3 email, not IMAP.
