Every call and e-mail results in the same answer. We will get back to you and they never do. I have sent them many files and they say the same. I have done everything they suggested and still nothing. Does anyone know how to get them to fix anything? Hopefully I can get some assistance from the forum. I have received suggestions from a few people in the forum but they didn't fix the problem either. Help please

    Gotta agree with you here. I have been waiting for a new Exchange server product key for 5 days & can't get anyone to tell me when the new key will arrive. They say it will be shipped within 48 hours, yet here we are at day 5 & still no key. I certainly won't be renewing it next year. <_<

    The problem is that not every country has it own e-mail technical support. I am lucky because I have a contact address in my country. Otherwise you are stuck with their worldwide address. That's the reason why it can took so long. To give another example of bad support when I used Panda I only received a response after 6 months. I agree to your both that you are dissatisfied.

    It seems something happened with your order. Can you give us the link where you bought the product from? Maybe there's a problem on that specific web page and needs to be fixed.


    In the mean time you can use the product. Exchange works full version for 30 days without the need to register it. You'll also get a free upgrade to the new version that will be released at the end of this month.     I suggest that you uninstall and then reinstall BitDefender again. That was gladly done. You can also try this to see if nothing of the windows files are corrupt. Put in your windows cd-rom. Then go to start,run,at the run dialog box type cmd press enter. Now type sfc /scannow en press enter.

    As for the support of BD it's pretty decent untill your product doesn't have a new problem they haven't encountered before.Like my bdmcon error a resource was unavailable,which was never fixed for BD antivirus plus version 10.Hope the version 11 won't have the same bd console(bdmcon)crashes wich make the antivirus pretty unrealiable.

    The name will of course be the same, it will still be called BitDefender (but there is a running joke among my friends who call it ButtDefender because it "saved their butts" i.e. saved them from malware many times---> no offense intended towards BitDefender staff, please take it as a joke) :P:D


    As for BitDefender 11, it will probably be released sometime this year. :)

  • Dudes about the next generation of bitdefender i'ved heard it will be realised in a month or two,but that's hear-say.


    As for the dude with the expired key i suggest reinstalling BD and not register it at first(just choose the"continue evaluating product").Sometimes after i register BD it will show a exipiring date(for example 12.5.2009) and after i restart to finish installation it shows another date(ussually more close to present date) and sometimes it says it's even expired.I ussually solve it by registering bd again after i installed it.Open BD go to registration and click on Enter new key.If the problem isn't solved then your key is not good(it's expired).

    I purchased it from a computer store over a month ago. You folks have yet to fix anything. It came on the original cd rom. During install it automatically got the new version from the net. Still I need something to work properly.

    The key is expired because it is an interval key. You use version 1.9 of the product that doesn't accept interval keys on renewal. Please, write to the person that sent you the key, explain the problem and ask for a fixed expiration date key. Or if you like, forward me the mail with the interval key (ccismaru at bitdefender dot com).


    Just an info, version 2 of the product solves the problem with the interval keys on renewal.

    OK, do you or anyone have a solution to the problem. Otherwise the spam filter is a joke. Please help. No One else will. Almost two months getting the run around from Bit Defender. Promises of a quick fix but nothing ever happens. Evidently the product asn't as good as the advertisemests say it is.


    This is getting to be a joke that isn't funny. Fix the product or arrange for me to get a refund. I purchased it at a computer store, they will not refund after 30 days and you have taken longer than that, putting me off and not fixing it. How do I get a refund?
