Freeware Bitdefender Rescue Cd Needs License Key
I use a downloaded freeware bitdefender rescue cd with a multiboot usb stick. It boot_s in UEFI PC and starts a GRUB2 menu.
Bitdefender boot_s and halts with the message: Update error: The update tool has quit unexpectetly (return code 12). In the next step
the message: "Your current license key is not valid" is displayed. But the rescue cd needs no license!! A burned CD boot_s error free.
The grub2.cfg entry:
menuentry 'Start the Bitdefender Rescue CD in English' --class gentoo --class gnu-linux --class gnu --class os {
set SQUASHFILE="/bitdefender/rescue/livecd.squashfs"
set kopts_common="root=/dev/ram0 real_root=/dev/loop0 loop=${SQUASHFILE} cdroot_marker=${SQUASHFILE} initrd udev cdroot scandelay=10"
set kopts_silent="quiet splash"
source ${prefix}/menu.cfg.${platform}
linux /bitdefender/boot/kernel.x86_64-efi ${kopts_common} ${kopts_silent} lang=en
initrd /bitdefender/boot/initfs.x86_64-efi
}
Has anybody a solution?

H Loisi, it would be nice if you can update this with the URL that you used to download. I think on some cases, it needs a license key but yuuo don't need to pay for anything, just to register but it would be nice you can can post the URL.
