Ids Not Work In Bitdefender 64 Bit

I tested both 32 bit and 64 bit of bitdefender internet security 2014 on windows 8.1 64 and 32 bit


on windows 32 bit with bitdefender 32 bit no problem when i activate IDS it work fine


but my problem is on windows 8.1 and bitdefender 64 bit


when i activate IDS it does not work, it always sleep did not prevent any thing in comparison with 32 bit on win 8.1 32 bit


why this problem occured with os 64 bit

    test this file on both bitdefender IS 32 bit and 64bit on windows 8


    on 32 bit no problem IDS unet works good when set to normal


    while on 64 bit when set to normal did not work

    By default IDS is turned ON and set to Permissive level on a fresh Bitdefender installation.


    I have sent the test file to our Labs. I will post back when I receive the results.

    The file you have submitted was actually a false positive alert. The detection was removed shortly afterwards.


    Do you have other test files with this behavior? If you do, please post the sample in a password-protected archive - password: infected.
