Cancelling Autorenewal ... !

I have tried everything to cancel my autorenewal because I do not want neither the product anymore nor the renewal.


The support Tool does not respond or Progress, so I can not send the message via that support.


I have tried everything on my account page to find an option to cancel the subscription and renewal


- but there is NO option.


I have tried this hidden page, but even under my products I find no option to cancel the renewal:

Can any in the staff here - knowledgable of the process - either guide me to the person able to cancel the renewal or post


exactly how to ?


* Like a lot of other people I obviously was lured into an autorenewal by not seeing any logical options to stop the renewal


process - (read all the posts here).


* Like a lot of other frustrated people here I find it being close to a scamming process, so before I take any action with my


bank or proper authorities, I want nothing less than a swift cancel of the autorenewal done by a proper staff member - or ...


* a complete guidance of how to manually cancel it (and no - the support Tool does NOT Work) - or ...


* being linked to a person that can do it without any further ado.

    How did you buy your license? If it was via Avangate then you need to contact them, if it was elsewhere then again you need to contact the vendor from where you bought it.

    Thank you - that did the trick.


    A pity that me and a bunch of other people trusted that (otherwise good) product. I became more and more suspicious since it was such an


    almost impossible task to find out how to cancel the autorenewal.


    NO help from the employed Bitdefender staff, NO response to ANY reported issue, error, dysfunction (or for that matter any resolve


    - the issues reported have never been resolved) and in the end ... this situation.


    It seems that Bitdefender counts on people continuing their subscription because they give up finding where to cancel the renewal. I consider


    it deliberately being almost impossible or hidden.


    And to your question where I bought the product in 2013: To my knowledge I bought it directly from Bitdefenders pages, and I certainly do


    not remember being channeled through Avangate.


    I suspect that the transaction have been sneaked through the backdoor so my purchase was done via Bitdefenders pages - but the


    transaction and information was registered and stored in Avangates pages - because I can not remember to have seen any option to cancel


    such an autorenewal and I can not remember Avangates pages.


    I never autorenew, so I I always have control over my withdrawals on my creditcard in case (such as this) where I want or need to


    stop a subscription).


    Anyway - great thanks for the help. I made a screenshot of the cancellation - so ###### breaks Loose for Bitdefender if I get a bill NeXT year.


    Sorry to say that I am permanently done with this product and goes back to Kaspersky which never caused any problems.

    When I bought my BD TS license I did ensure the "Renewal" box was unchecked as although I will be buying a license when this one runs out I like to have control over where and when I do it.
