I have noticed this too but didn't think it was a major concern.
This happens because when a signatures update is received, it's record replaces the entry from the previous signature update at its location in the list of events. If the interface is closed, e.g., after Exit from the tray icon, and restarted the update entry is moved to the proper location.

That explains it. I just hope that this gets fixed onto the next version. It's not really that much of a resource needed anyway to make changes, I hope.
