Hello,


i would like to know if it is legal to sell the Bitdefender Free Edition? I guess not,but here in France it is sold.I just found out it was free.Is this legal ? :blink:

    I wouldn't pay for it when there is an english version for free which works globally. This may be a sign of the 'free' version being withdrawn and replaced by 'essential' lifetime machine specific license based.

    i had no idea man.i found out about the english version when i was having some trouble about its functionalities.a bitdefender representative reply would be really appreciated.can i demand a refund or smth?

    If you are within 30 days of purchase then you should be refunded without question. you will need to contact the Global Bitdefender Commercial Customer Support team for a refund and to cancel the existing license via the page below. Oddly though the 'Essential' is not listed like it is on the french website contact form. So you may need to choose AV Plus and explain in the description boxes what you actually need help with.

    in the email include the date of purchase, date of activation if different, full product name, your registered email address for the product, the license key and why you want a refund. also make it clear that you will not attempt to use the paid license again.
