Update Weekly.exe Successful?

Hi,


I am using the weekly.exe in order to update bitdefender on my computer, because it is offline and has got no internet connection. Eventhough the last update was last week it always says: "Last update: today" and when I open "Events" it only say "update encountered an error".


How do I know whether the update with the weekly.exe was successful?

    Hello,


    If you leave automatic update active in the product it will still try to update. Since the computer is offline it will generated the event you mention. The error code is usually 1002.


    To check if the offline update performed with weekly.exe is successful, check the versions file number from this folder before and after running the tool:


    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender Threat Scanner\Antivirus_...


    (... = random number e.g.: Antivirus_26846_006 or Antivirus_27270_295, etc.)


    It should change after Bitdefender is successfully updated offline.
