Ssl Scanning Suddenly Stops Working

Last night, out of the blue, all HTTPS sites stopped working unless I disabled the "Scan SSL" setting in BDTS 2016. Firefox says "This Connection is Untrusted" and IE says "There is a problem with this website’s security certificate" for every HTTPS site if "Scan SSL" is enabled. What makes no sense is that I had been using "Scan SSL" for days without a problem; it just suddenly stopped working. Does this mean BD's local SSL certificate got deleted or corrupted somehow?

  • A repair of BDTS 2016 didn't help. It did reset ALL my settings to default without warning however. How nice.
