How Do I Allow Win8.1 To Share Hard Disks?
Hello
I am using BitDefender Total Security 2016, running in Autopilot mode on two PCs.
How can I get to get my two PC, (both of which are running Windows 8.1 Pro x64) to be able to read each other's hard disks? (i.e. share hard disks)
I understand that BitDefender may be stopping me from doing this.
Do I need to do something to the BitDefender firewall?
Can any one help?

You just need to have the Adapters properly setup and you can add a exclusion for each machine, just add the ip of each of the machines in the firewall exclusions and you should be ready to go.

I have gone to
BitDefender ==> Show ==> Modules ==> Firewall ==> Adapters
I then see:
Does that look correct?
If I click on "Network Excpetions". I then see this image
Are those settings correct? e.g. Should I set the adapter to be Trusted or Home/Office (physically it is within a home office...)
But I still can't access my shares from one PC to another. [GRRR!]
EDIT:
P.S. When I revert to the first screen, a "Teredo Tunneling Psuedo-Interfcace" has suddenly appeared as an Adapter. Should I be worried?

Hello,
No you should not be worried about Teredo, and it is good you set it as trusted. More information on it can be found here.
If your office network is hidden behind a firewall, for example a gateway you can leave it on Trusted if not Home/Office is the best setting for you.
Please note that you will have to add the Firewall exception for the other machine should it be running Bitdefender as well. In machine A exclude B's ip and in machine B exclude A's ip.
Also just to be sure Bitdefender is the one blocking the share, try to temporarily disable the Firewall and see if you can access any of the information.
