Bitdefender Blocks All Traffic Since Last Update On My Machine

I had one strange problem... I have been away for 2 days and when I fire up my computer and update Bitdefender, the firewall starts blocking all traffic.

I had to turn it off to be able to access the web.

I tried modifying network type, reset the rules, it just kept blocking everything.

How the heck do I correct that... full reinstall?

Computer runs Windows 10 with Bitdefender Total security 2016

    Chat support took charge of the problem... will let know if there is a solution for future users who has a similar problem.

     


    Wow, well that's just interesting... the support tool hanged! And tried it 3 times.
    Attempting reinstall.

     


    Ok issue solved... error during Bitdefender update patch... Reinstalling from scratch resolves the issue
