Virus Signatures Fail To Update

After re-installing twice, 'seems to be -stuck- on this:

Bitdefender has updated its virus signatures.
The update version is 7.66297.
The signature number is 7110319.

... but this:

... says:

Update time: Wed Jul 13 20:11:51 2016
Signature number: 6240148
Update time GMT: 1468429911
Version: 7.66307

Is there a fix?

"Between 17:12-17:23 UTC, the Dashboard and API were temporarily unavailable.
DNS response times may have increased for some users in North America. This issue is now resolved."

'May have caused problems on my end. 'Had similar problems about 8 months ago on your side on the globe, but I'd forgotten about that...

'Will retry/reinstall sometime tomorrow after things settle down some - 'not good to have that going on during installs ...

'Just went to do some Flash updates at a home 5-miles-away - 2 other machines, BD AV Free on both is also stuck on:

    My Bitdefender Free Edition for the last 4+ hrs is still on update version 7.66297 with the signature number 7110319. Maybe some issue with Free Bitdefender update servers ?

    Hello,

    Most plausible scenario is that you had a bigger update pending a reboot, after the reboot the product continued with the update process.

    Another would be that after the restart you got routed to a different server in the cloud that was more suitable for your location.

    Despite all that, happy to see that the situation has been resolved.
