Thank You.. Thank You.. Thank You..

I just couldn't resist!!

Most folks, including myself in the past, visit fora or help-portals only when they have a problem.. But I thought, having a little spare time on my hands, Thanking the guys is in order..

So Team Bitdefender, From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU.. BitDefender has met and exceeded my expectations for a free AV.. I really LOVE the small RAM/CPU foot-print BD takes up and its no-user interaction approach is Fabulous, to say the least..

Phenomenal Protection!!

Thanks again...

  • 1) What is the total ram usage when is idle, every day use, and on demand scanning?

    2) Do you experience any crash, software incompatible, bugs, or system slow down after installed BitDefender Free 2016?

    3) From 1 to 100, what is your rate for overall?

  • Hi Duckydude..

    1. First off, the Protection is As I said is phenomenal.. I had one or 2 infections while using AVAST but Bitdefender is truly awesome.. Also the RAM usage is so small, it is hardly noticeable.. 5.2MB Pre-scan & 18MB @ Full-SYStem scan..

Here lemme link my RAM usage Task Manager screenshots, pre- and post scan..

Absolutely no crashes/errors, by the way I am using the Bitdefender Free 2016 AV not the BETA -- I would probably give Bitdefender Free atleast a 90 on 100..

    Cheers, :-))

Thank you @faisal144 for the answers. Just to let you know that Bitdefender Free 2016 is in early stage BETA, not the official release yet. But man, these RAM usages you showed me is better than Windows Defender.

Just another question though, are you running this on the latest Windows 10 build?

Also THANK YOU to the makers of Bitdefender free antivirus. Also use the 2016 free version myself.

Have tried many of the free versions of AV software over the years.

Found Bitdefender and have never looked backed.

Am in IT and I highly recommend both the free and paid version of Bitdefender to all my clients.

Never had a crash on my system whilst using Bitdefender either.
