Scanning Downloads From Idmanager

I can't figure out how to trigger BD to scan a download in Internet Download Manager. It offers the option of chosing a virus scanner program (with command line parameters) to scan any downloads it does.

​Is this an unnecessary option in IDM and does my BD Internet Security 2016 scan downloads automatically?

    Hello,

    Bitdefender does not support command lines, that feature was removed for security reasons.

    The product will scan any newly downloaded/accessed file on your machine automatically.
