Full Scan Locks Up Vista Machine
When trying to do a full scan my machine seems to freeze up. I dont get the "scanning files" dialog, it takes forever to bring up the task manager, I cant open up firefox or internet explorer. All of this gets resolved if I manager to kill the BDB process. My machine is a 2.4 GHZ laptop with 4 GB of ram so its no slouch. This seems to have happen after I installed Vista SP1. Anyone else have this happening to them?

hey i got mine working now, not sure if this did it but i went through the settings quickly and then it started working good for me...0 -
Hello all!
Make sure that your product is updated with the latest definitions. If it is, than there might be some incompatibility issues between BD and other software. It is a little bit difficult to find out which are those processes, though, you may try to do the scan in safe mode. Please read this topic for additional information regarding safe-mode scanning.
