Can I Direct Spam To A Folder
Is there a way I can set my settings so that if I get spam it is sent to a folder of my choice, in the settings all I see is send to delete.

Dear Eric_houston,
No that isn't possible to change it in BitDefender. The only thing that sometimes works at this time is making a rule that automatically moves mails that have [sPAM] or [spam] in the subject line to a folder of your choice. It is already requested in the feature request section so Softwin might add it.

Hi Niels,
bitdefender creates a rule in OE6. So i thought i modify this rule. But i guess this isn't possible for every time i reboot my computer ór the rule has gone totally ór the rule is reset.
Then i made a new rule, but now comes the strange part : this rule disappears!? Not the first time but after several reboots ánd after i did a new antispam wizard.
So now i'm a bit confused what to do.
What do you think is worng?
kind regards,

Hello mark govaerts,
Sorry for the late reply. But when you created a new rule did you pressed on apply now?
It's important that you see the confirmation message of outlook express that the rule or rules are being applied. No you can't change the BitDefender default rule. If you want that your rule has priority you have to select it and press on up.

Hi Niels,
now my turn : sorry for the late reply. guess we're very busy.
i did apply the new rule, and i have seen it work. the trouble is, as i mentioned earlier, the rule will disappear after several reboots.
For now i made a second rule and put it on top. So lets sea what's going to happen.
kind regards,

Hi Niels and all other BitDefender people,
i did make an extra rule and put it on top. The next time i opened OE it was okay. So i did apply! The second time i opened OE not. The bitDefender-rule was on top again " />
i'm not so very pleased anymore. Is there any normal possibility to do this trick. Is it possible to disable the bitdefender rule without stopping the bitdefender bar in OE? Or better can the BD-rule be more flexible?
With most (free) anti-spam program's this isn't an issue and therefore i'm a bit disappointed this is such a problem to handle.
I know bitdefender has been around for a long time and for me it's not slowing down my computer ( i'm running total security 2008 ) as most other suites do. I've tested several.
Furthermore i want to install this suite with some of my customers. It makes it eassier for me to manage they're Internet security. Offcourse Bitdefender is one of the pieces in the puzzle for that.
So if there's someone within the BitDefender's company who can solve this problem ( for me it really is ), than i would be very gratefull.
Kind Regards,

Hello mark govaerts,
You can do this press on the settings button of the BitDefender antispam toolbar and uncheck move message to. This will disable the option of BitDefender antispam to move the mails. But the mails still will being tagged as spam or phising. This is only a user forum. No support people are active here only from time to time virus researchers.
Best regards
