Shield advanced settings change by themselves
Just bought Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2018 and have a question about a couple of the advanced shield settings.
I've noticed how some of them as listed below are changed by themselves when I perform a full system scan.
Scan network shares - changes from OFF to ON by itself
Scan bootsectors - changes from ON to OFF by itself
Scan only new and changed files - changes from ON to OFF by itself
When the full system scan is completed, the settings above revert to their original settings as I had them set prior to starting the full system scan.
Why does this happen?
When I perform a full system scan I do want the bootsectors scanned and I only want to scan new and changed files. In the same manner, I don't want to scan network shares.

Since I'm no longer allowed to edit my post above I will add here that I'm using Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.16299.371].0 -

The Shield settings are part of the Real Time protection, compared to an On Demand full system scan. I believe what it is doing is enabling, disabling some of those features to accomplish a default system scan, and thus reverts back the settings when done. (does it also with my BDIS)
You can also see what the default system scans for, and it's options by clicking the Bell Icon/Notifications/All/click on a scan drop down arrow/View Log, and it will give you Details and Scan Options used etc.
As Rampant said, you can create your own custom scan with a name of your choosing, along with a myriad of options.
You may have already found this, but just in case, I like the pdf version of the user manual better than the one included with BD/Support Icon: /index.php?/topic/76622-bitdefender-2018-users-guide/" rel="">https://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?/topic/76622-bitdefender-2018-users-guide/
