problems installing on windows 10


Hello all,

i hope someone knows this problem:

I started the installer, the download runs and after it i see the picture with the big blue buttton "install".

But the button is grey and not blue. The only working option is to close the form.

The agent is installed and i be asked to sign into my account. But the product is not installed.

CHKDSK, DISM and SFC are running without error. What can be the reason?

    I have exactly the same problem. And I have no solution. I have reported this to support, but the free product does not get much support so we can only wait, or go find an other product.

    yes, not nice but ...


    I did this: I installed a 180 day test version of Bitdefender Internet Security to have more time. After this my backup did not work anymore, VSS and restore points were dead, no repair worked. I took an ISO of Windows 1803 and made an update to it self with keeping files and settings. After this everything was good. Next step will be to uninstall the test version and to see if the freeware works now. But i have 175 days time for this left. :-)

  • BD support provided the answer to my problems. Obvious when you think about it - but the box does not exist till you click the link text.

    Please make sure that you have ticked both boxes from the installation window in order to activate the Install button.
