Update failed, error -1017 on Windows 10 pro 64 bit

Bitdefender Free Edition on Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, almost year or so everything has been fine.

Since couple of days updates keep failing with error -1017.

Tried re-installing but same problem again.

As a side note, also started (will try to submit these separately):

• 
  Blocking windows update web resources (windowsupdate.com and microsoft.com)
  
• 
  Complaining about Application.CoinMiner.AY in Firefox profile cache folder, even when cache is cleaned and Firefox is opened to default home page.
