Yiou have to disabel Encrypted Web Scan. Described here:
Its for me a wonder that no one test the new Version and a Browser. This Problem is on all Browsers on W10 PC.0 -
Hello,
For Firefox please try the following steps:
- open Firefox
- press on the menu button in the upper right that looks like three bars one under another
- go to Options
- go to Privacy & Security
- press on View certificates
- go to Authorities
- delete any Bitdefender entries in the list
- press on Import
- navigate to C:\Program Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender Security\mitm_cache
- select fake-ca.crt and press on Open
- check all the boxes you are prompted with
- press on next until the certificate is installed
- in the same certificate window, click on the Bitdefender Personal CA.Net-Defender certificate, then on Edit Trust
- check the box "This certificate can identify web sites"
Restart Firefox . A restart of the computer may also be required.
If the issue is in other browsers try these steps instead:
- press Windows start button and type certmgr.msc, then press Enter
- select Trusted Root Certificates > Certificates
- right click on Certificates and choose All Tasks > Import
- press Next > then Browse to C:\Program Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender Security\mitm_cache\fake-ca.crt > press Next again
- click Automatically select the certificate store > Next > Finish
Then check if websites load with Encrypted Web Scan enabled.0 -

I do not like to go into the "c:\Program files"-folder. I consider this folder as a system-folder. Is Bitdefender aware of this problem? Will there be a correction in the Bitfender-program? When? Or has every user to apply this procedure (messing around in Program-Files-folder)?
Even in Chrome going to a Bitdefender-web-address I got this screen:
So Bitdefender is blocking their own site?0 -
That is the location of the folder in which the certificate that needs to be installed in your browsers is located.
You can also try to reinstall the program, keeping all browsers closed, and the certificate should get installed: https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/13429/0 -

I did a reinstall with all browsers closed. I want to go https://bitdefender.enendw.sgizmo.com . Result: page Blocked because of security reasons. Bitdefender-website has now unsafe pages...?0 -
Please send us an email at bitsy@bitdefender.com with a link to this thread or a summary of the case thus far and a support tool log + an autoruns log:
https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/1730/
a) Go to this page
b) Extract the contents of the downloaded file and run the 'autoruns.exe' file;
c) Wait for the list to be filled with all the processes and then make sure that you have the Everything tab selected in the upper part;
d) Click on the Disk icon right under File and chose any location folder on your computer;
e) Save the file with a specific name (your name, computer name, a random name, which one you want) and then just attach it to the email and send it to us.
Thanks!0 -

I cannot do that, because I uninstalled completely BitDefender, because this and other problems. I do not want to be a B-tester. I considered BitDefender as malware because it is reading with a constant speed of 24 KB/s on all drives and I got no explanation for this.
Now after uninstalling Bitdefender my system is fast and reliable again.0
