Root certificate
Yes I just installed Bitdefender free edition and a popup came up and said it wanted to install a root certificate for FireFox. I"m wondering if this is normal or did I install it wrong?
Thanks,
Tony

Yes, it's normal. The certificate is needed so that Bitdefender can check the https pages you access in your browser.0 -
I have also recently installed Bitrdefender free edition and can find no way to overcome the problem with Firefox. Since the free edition provides almost no configuration options to the user, I have with the greatest regret been forced to use other solutions. This a is a great pity because Bitdefender free edition protection seems to be enormously effective.
Google Chrome is unaffected by this problem but I do not like that web browser.0 -
You may want to take a look at this /index.php?/topic/77596-traffic-blocked-lan-and-net/&page=4" rel="">post. It appears slinkygn has found a solution to manually adding the root certificate to Firefox (though I thought it was supposed to do this anyway).0
