If I buy a boxed BitDefender 2018, can I use the license in that to extend an existing subscription?

    Answering my own question in case others run into it: Yes. The code was usable to extend the existing subscription. So at least currently, if you find boxed versions for previous years on sale, these are a nice way to extend the subscription at a discount.
