Bitdefender 2020 installation loop.
Hello, yesterday I formatted my PC and reinstalled Windows 10. One of the first things I tried to do was installing Bitdefender 2020 Internet Security. I went to the website, logged in, downloaded the most recent version from the control center and installed it. After installing I window pop up saying something like "configuring Bitdefender to get ready). This popup also shows a spinner with a % completed.
At 7% the spinner is stuck, for about 5 minutes. After those 5 minutes it instantly pops to 23% and Bitdefender asks me to restart my system. After restarting the system the same popup shows up and the same happens again (7%, wait 5 minutes, asks for restart). This is an infinite loop and I cannot properly install Bitdefender 2020.
I have tried repairing Bitdefender (first time, did not work) and also removed Bitdefender (twice) and tried reinstalling (twice, did not work either).
Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can install Bitdefender?
Thanks in advance.

My advice would be to try running our uninstall tool (in the link below). At the end of the process it will ask you to restart the computer. Afterwards you can reattempt the installation.

I got a direct reply from the support center on my email with an answer which was:
Update Windows 10
After updating my Windows I could install Bitdefender without a problem.
