Anonymous Ops

Hello, I have Bitdefender and Bitdefender VPN, all updated today 7/27/202. There is a group that calls themselves Anonymous Ops that claim they are going to hack into my PC via my router and destroy everything. Is Bitdefender able to stop this type of action?

    Hi Member,

Bitdefender will definitely protect you from all the known as well as unknown online threats. You can check any attachment file/ link which you feel are malicious on https://www.virustotal.com/gui/ which will scan a particular file/ link with the database of all the available antivirus vendors on the market and will generate a report whether a particular file/ link is malicious or not.

If by chance you see that on virustotal the file/ link is not detected as malicious under bitdefender section or even if your bitdefender product is also not blocking the malicious website or detecting a particular file as malicious, you can always share the file/ link with bitdefender malware research team through online submission forum (https://www.bitdefender.com/submit/)

If the file/ link is malicious, detection will be added to the bitdefender database in maximum of 72 hours. If even 72 hours there is no detection available, then one should assume that the submitted file/ link is not malicious according to malware research team.
