How can I get into my online banking as it won't let me now?

    Hi @keejoan and welcome to the community.

    To help you, we will need a little more information.

    Is this a new install of Bitdefender, or did this happen after an update? What version of Bitdefender are you using, AV+, Internet Security or Total Security? Are you trying to access your bank site through the VPN, Safepay, or what browser are you using? Do you get an error message online that you could post a screenshot of?

  • I don't even know the version- I have Windows and have the $39.99 deal which I got 2 months ago. I don't want to use Safepay- just my banking site.

    Thank you for the follow-up information.

    When you open your Bitdefender app, it will show you across the top what version you have.

    In Chrome, if Bitdefender Ant-tracker is enabled, try turning it off. Go to the 3 dots in the upper right-hand corner of Chrome/More tools/extensions and turn off the feature, restart your browser and see if you can get to your banking site.

    Also, confirm that VPN is turned off, in case that is causing an issue.

    If you have Bitdefender Internet Security or Total Security, try disabling the Firewall and check the site. We don't want to permanently leave it off, though, as that is part of those version's security.


    You can try another browser, like Edge, to see if you're able to access the banking website.
