Bitdefender 2008 Internet Security Slow Down My Start Up?

Hello there, i am new with Bitdefender. Before using your product, i used avast!home free edition, and it's so light with my notebook.
The problem is, after i installed bitdefender internet security 2008, it seems that my notebook slow down on start up. Although after my notebook fully start up, the process will stabilize again. I notice that when the bitdefender icon on system tray appear, the process on my notebook ,blinking lamp process on notebook will stop for a moment for about 30sec-2min, then it will blink again and the process will go again. I don't have any issue like this before installing bitdefender. And yes, the startup program have been minimized after i feel this symptoms.
Right now i am enabled all protection on bitdefender (real time,firewall,etc) and disabling the windows firewall. And there is a pop up from bitagent, asking me, can it acces where and where, is it okay to acces my computer or anything. Is it the action from bitdefender firewall? Can i automatically save the setting or rule? because after i restart my computer it keep asking the same thing like before. Is the setting restarted? can it be saved?? I am really annoyed with this thing.
My notebook is vaio, with 2ghz and 2gb ram with 8400GT vga and vista home premium and 70% free space of hdd. With 768kbps internet connection.

To be sure that Avast was completely removed please follow the instructions in this topic. What other security products have you currently installed on your computer? Keep in mind that you can't compare an antivirus with a complete suite.
If the pop-up's came from the BitDefender firewall. You must have seen a pop-up that has BitDefender firewall alert as name.
You need to create rules if you don't want to be asked every time. To do that go to the firewall section navigate to the traffic tab and create rules for programs that need internet access. Click also on the status tab the slider should being set on allow recommended.

Now the start up loading time have shortened a bit.. And i am quite satisfied with that..
Did bitdefender auto update, update itself just when the icon appear on system tray? I notice that the last check definition update is the time when i am logged into vista, no wonder it's ###### heavy on the start up.
Probably for the next version of bitdefender, bitdefender team may fix this problem, and let the automatic update start when the computer is idle.
How do i create a rules on traffic?? It seems that the profile name on the traffic changes everytime i am logged in. And it keep asking whether firefox.exe is allowed, or windows media playes. is allowed. I really disturbed with this pop up everyday.0 -
